Applaudo is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer in Bogotá to own end-to-end delivery across web, mobile, backend, APIs, and cloud services. You’ll work with React.js, React Native, APIs, databases, and AWS to design scalable, production-ready solutions.

You will thrive in fast-moving environments, collaborate with stakeholders, and apply pragmatic architecture decisions while leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate development and ensure reliability and security.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, including 5+ years building full-stack or end-to-end software solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience developing production web applications using React.js.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining production mobile applications using React Native.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining backend services and APIs using modern technologies.
• Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases, including data modeling, performance, and optimization.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

• Partner closely with business leadership to understand business challenges, product opportunities, customer needs, and operational friction.
• Translate high-level and ambiguous business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and iterate on solutions across web, mobile, backend services, APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Develop and maintain React.js and React Native applications.
• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting the platform and its evolving needs.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party platforms, partners, and external services.
• Own technical decisions throughout the development lifecycle while balancing speed, reliability, scalability, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of platform architecture and overall technical health.
• Support cloud infrastructure, deployments, application performance, and production troubleshooting.
• Identify opportunities to automate internal and operational processes through technology and integrations.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools and modern engineering practices to improve development velocity and productivity.
• Continuously iterate on solutions based on real-world usage, customer feedback, and evolving business needs.
• Identify when additional specialized technical expertise or resources are required to support platform growth.
