Job summary

Global Technology Services in Medellín, Colombia seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead backend and frontend work using Java and Angular. You will design, code, test, and deploy systems while advancing Agile SCRUM practices and a DevOps culture for continuous delivery.

Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs with Spring, leveraging Oracle/DB2 databases, and collaborating with global teams. Strong English (B2) is required; hybrid work setup in Medellín.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Advanced Java with 5+ years in web development.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle and DB2 databases and Hibernate.
• Angular experience with 3+ years in front-end work.
• Experience with test-driven development and RESTful APIs.
• DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile SCRUM practices experience.
• English language proficiency at B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, coding, testing, and deployment of backend and frontend systems using Java and Angular.
• Implement test-driven development and contribute to continuous delivery.
• Collaborate in a DevOps environment to streamline integration and deployment.
• Promote Agile SCRUM practices within the team.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring.
• Work with relational databases (Oracle/DB2) and ORM (Hibernate).
• Coordinate with remote and internal teams to meet milestones.
