EPAM Systems seeks a Chief Forward Deployed Engineer in Colombia to act as a self-directed technical leader, working directly with clients to shape requirements and ship production-ready software. You will own delivery end-to-end, balance architecture choices, and integrate AI-assisted coding practices into daily work.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive delivery speed while maintaining high standards across projects for multinational clients.

Formación

• Seven-plus years of practical software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years directing and overseeing engineering teams.
• Proficient with .NET (C#) backend and Angular frontend.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications on AWS.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Strong in English communication and business engagement.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the go-to technical contact for clients from kickoff through completion.
• Translate broad business objectives into concrete technical strategies and delivery plans.
• Lead projects from idea to production launch with minimal supervision.
• Choose architecture and tools, guiding implementation decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical work with business goals.
• Mentor and develop engineers to raise team capability.
