AgileEngine is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to advise engineering teams on cloud costs and optimization, with APAC hours and overlap with PST/CST. You will lead proactive cost reviews, investigate anomalies, and produce root-cause analyses while partnering with R&D to align forecasts with budgets.

This role emphasizes governance, reporting, and strong communication, with OpenAI/LLM cost awareness, Jira/Slack workflows, and a flexible remote-friendly setup.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of FinOps experience.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization expertise.
• Investigate spend anomalies and write root-cause analyses.
• Partner-facing advisor to R&D/engineering teams.
• Forecast cloud costs, align forecasts with team projections.
• OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring.
• Cost modeling and project tracking.
• Proficiency with Jira and Slack for investigations and support.
• Maintain documentation/wiki and recurring reporting (Showback).
• Strong communication for stakeholders.
• Availability to cover APAC business hours with PST/CST overlap.
• Upper-intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary contact for R&D teams seeking cloud cost guidance via Slack and other channels.
• Conduct proactive, consultative engagement with APAC-based colleagues to review monthly cloud spending and surface opportunities.
• Monitor cloud and AI/LLM spend for anomalies; investigate variances and deliver root-cause analyses with recommendations.
• Participate in the monthly forecasting cycle with assigned R&D teams; document plans and intent for future spend.
• Contribute to showback reporting and top spending R&D meetings with cost-driver insights.
• Support Cost Awareness and Cost Education, updating wiki content.
• Model team cost projections and respond to requests via Slack and email.
