AgileEngine is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to guide engineering teams on cloud spend and optimization. The role requires overlap with APAC business hours and PST/CST alignment, with a focus on cost forecasting and anomaly investigations.

The ideal candidate will partner with R&D to review monthly spend, surface savings opportunities, and document findings in Jira, while maintaining strong written and verbal stakeholder communication across teams.

Competenze

• 4+ years of FinOps experience.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization expertise.
• Experience investigating spend anomalies and producing root-cause analyses.
• Partner-facing experience advising R&D/engineering teams.
• Cloud cost forecasting experience with team-level projections.
• Familiarity with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring LLM spend.
• Cost modeling and tracking investments/projects.
• Proficiency with Jira for investigations and Slack for real-time support.
• Experience maintaining documentation/wiki spaces and recurring reporting (Showback).
• Availability to cover APAC business hours with PST/CST overlap.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

• Serve as primary contact for R&D teams seeking cloud cost guidance via Slack and other channels.
• Engage with APAC-based teams to review monthly cloud spending and surface optimization opportunities.
• Monitor cloud and AI/LLM spend for anomalies and conduct investigations with written root-cause analyses.
• Contribute to monthly forecasting with team cohorts and document spend plans.
• Provide cost optimization recommendations and document work in Jira tickets.
• Support cost awareness and cost education efforts and update the wiki.
• Model team cost projections and respond to help requests via Slack and email.
