AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to guide engineering on cloud costs and optimization. This role requires APAC business hours overlap, including PST/CST, with evening/night alignment for LATAM/US.

You will investigate spend anomalies, forecast costs with R&D teams, and document root-cause analyses. Strong written and verbal communication is essential for stakeholder reporting.

Formación

• 4+ years in FinOps.
• Cloud cost management and optimization expertise.
• Investigate spend anomalies; write root-cause analyses.
• Partner-facing; advise R&D/engineering teams.
• Forecasting cloud costs; align central forecasts with team projections.
• OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring spend.
• Cost modeling and team investment tracking.
• Proficient with Jira and documenting investigations in Slack.
• Maintain technical docs/wiki; recurring reporting (Showback).
• Strong written and verbal communication; stakeholder engagement.
• Availability to cover APAC hours with PST/CST overlap.
• Upper-intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary contact for R&D cloud cost guidance via Slack and channels.
• Engage APAC teams to review monthly cloud spending; surface opportunities.
• Monitor cloud and AI/LLM spend for anomalies; document root-cause analyses.
• Participate in monthly forecasting; align forecasts with team plans.
• Contribute to showback reporting and cost-driver analysis.
• Support Cost Awareness and Cost Education; update wiki.
• Model team cost projections; respond to help requests via Slack/email.
