Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking an independent contractor with strong ViewPoint administration and SQL Server development skills to support enterprise systems in our Bogotá operations. The role includes application ownership, reporting, data integrations, and automation, with a focus on reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate has significant experience with ViewPoint and SQL Server, plus familiarity with data integration and scripting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise systems and SQL Server solutions.
• Ability to own applications and provide SQL development, reporting and integrations.
• Experience with ViewPoint is a plus and Azure data technologies are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and support ViewPoint including security and data management.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and integration issues and support upgrades.
• Design, develop and maintain SQL Server solutions (T-SQL, procedures, views).
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and reconciliation.
• Produce operational and management reports and support system integrations.
• Develop automation, data movement and integration solutions; participate in incident/change management.

Requirements

Independent contractor able to work on ViewPoint and associated business systems, providing application ownership, SQL Server development, reporting, integrations and operational support for business-critical platforms

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and support ViewPoint, including security, reporting and data management.
• Troubleshoot application, configuration and data-related issues and support upgrades and releases.
• Design, develop and maintain SQL Server database solutions including T-SQL, stored procedures, views and functions.
• Optimise database performance and resolve data integrity and reconciliation issues.
• Produce and support operational and management reporting solutions.
• Support integrations between ViewPoint and other enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain automation, data movement and integration solutions.
• Participate in Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management processes.

Essential Experience

• Significant experience supporting and administering enterprise business applications.

• Experience troubleshooting complex application, database and integration issues.

Desirable Experience

• ViewPoint experience.
• C# / .NET development and PowerShell
• Azure data and integration technologies (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Logic Apps).
• API integrations, ETL tools and automation technologies.
• Experience within legal, professional services or financial services environments.

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Essential: Demonstrable experience supporting enterprise systems and SQL Server solutions.
• Desirable: Microsoft SQL or Azure certifications.
• Desirable: ITIL Foundation certification.
• Desirable: ViewPoint-specific training or certification.
• Desirable: Agile / Scrum training.
