TMF Group is seeking a senior VDI architect to lead the design, configuration and delivery of enterprise-grade VDI services across global teams. You will create target architectures that align with TMF’s cloud roadmap and ensure secure, scalable endpoints for staff worldwide.

You will own VDI roadmaps, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with architects to deliver high-quality user experiences across borders.

Formación

• Architect-level experience in Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop including designing, installing and troubleshooting large server farms.
• Proven ability to lead complex IT projects across the full lifecycle (Analysis, Architecture, Design, Build, Test, Production).
• Strong knowledge of VDI infrastructure, networking, security, and Office 365 integration with VDIs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical design, configuration and delivery of fit-for-purpose Enterprise VDI services.
• Create high level solution models and target architectures aligned with cloud adoption roadmaps.
• Own VDI solution roadmaps, implement improvements, and coordinate with TMF architects and stakeholders.

Discover the Role

Conducting the full range of technical design, configuration, and delivery of fit for purpose business and management capabilities:

• Create high level solution models and architectures for all aspects of Enterprise VDI Services which align with organizational requirements, meeting all security, operational and integration needs
• Working collaboratively to create target architecture which aligns with the TMF’s broader cloud adoption architecture and future roadmaps.
• The role holder will be part of Global team and focus on projects with have an VDI touchpoint, ensuring adherence to architecture and design standards and the target respective architecture.
• Own and manage VDI solution architecture roadmaps and blueprints, defining and delivering an on-going continuous improvement and maintenance program

Key Responsibilities

Technical Solution Design & Build

• Proven experience of leading infrastructure & network engineering design and implementation effort on complex projects, including the planning, tracking, and controlling of infrastructure project activities
• Proven experience of Citrix XenApp and experience designing, installing, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting complex and large Citrix server farms
• Detailed knowledge of IT Networks and hardware components including experience in setting up and administering IT networks
• Strong experience of technically leading complex projects throughout the complete IT lifecycle (Analysis, Architecture, Design, Build, Test & Production)
• Working with other TMF architects and leads to ensure excellent user experience solutions are available to TMF staff regardless of location or corporate device.

Operations

• Assisting with 3rd line technical support, incident, and problem management as required, including triage, advanced troubleshooting, analysis, and incident resolution.
• Leveraging expert technical knowledge and relationships within the team and with suppliers to resolve escalated incidents within agreed service levels.
• Take ownership and facilitate the progress of related bugs or associated IT problems.

Strong Technical Acumen – extensive VDI technical knowledge, including experience of:

Key Requirements

• Design the various migration / upgradation solution related to VDI Infrastructure.
• Excellent in preparing OSG, LLD, HLD and Migration/Transition documentation and Architectural Methodology and Governance processes.
• Provide a comprehensive end-to-end architecture for the stakeholders’ business and technical requirements. Ensuring the solution aligns across the business for people, process, and technology domains
• Analyze and investigate possible solutions to meet the business and technical requirements.
• Produce professional high-level solution descriptions and obtain customer acceptance of these solutions.
• Be responsible for the technical solution through all phases of the project, support the project managers and work within a defined change management process.
• Architect-level Level Experience in Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop which include but not limited to designing, installing, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting complex and large Citrix server farms. Integrate and Optimize Performance of Office 365 Components with VDIs/HSDs
• Good Experience in Virtualization Hosts and ShareFile and FsLogix Solutions.
• Strong experience of technically leading complex projects throughout the complete IT lifecycle (Analysis, Architecture, Design, Build, Test Production)
• Working knowledge of VDI Services Citrix & Microsoft.
• Ability to coordinate with other testers and developing test plans and test scenarios.
• Understanding of networking connectivity including firewalls, DMZ, and secure networks
• Understanding of server virtualization technologies and basic configurations including network and server security.
