Job summary

Ascendion in Colombia is seeking a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to support containerized applications, CI/CD automation, and platform operations within a digital banking environment. You will design and optimize deployment pipelines, manage scalable Kubernetes/OpenShift infrastructure, and drive reliability across engineering teams.

You will implement GitOps workflows, monitor applications with tools such as Splunk and Grafana, and collaborate with security and quality processes within CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Docker and Quay.
• Hands-on knowledge of Argo CD.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Knowledge of application monitoring and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting digital engineering teams.
• Support containerized application deployments and platform operations.
• Work with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift environments.
• Implement and maintain GitOps deployment processes.
• Support application monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment reliability.
• Support security and code quality processes within CI/CD workflows.
