AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to deploy and operationalize a new Kubernetes-based cloud environment on AWS for a short-term project.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/PlatformEng and 4+ years with Kubernetes in production, with strong AWS, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Argo CD and Go/Python skills. Responsibilities include leading deployment, ensuring security and reliability, and collaborating across teams to optimize platform operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/Platform/Cloud Eng.
• 4+ years deploying Kubernetes in production.
• Proven AWS-hosted app deployment/operational experience.
• Ability to lead tech initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of a new cloud environment (AWS or other).
• Ensure deployments follow security and reliability best practices.
• Collaborate with apps, infra, security, and operations teams.
• Deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes platforms.
• Troubleshoot cluster, networking, ingress, storage, and workloads.
• Support modernization and containerization efforts.
