EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our shared DevOps team on a Medtech sector project. You will build and maintain resilient cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines using AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and related tools.

The role emphasizes designing scalable cloud architectures, implementing GitOps with ArgoCD, and ensuring observability across distributed systems while collaborating with multinational teams.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar engineering role.
• Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its core cloud offerings.
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
• Skills in Kubernetes operation, deployment, and cluster fundamentals.
• Background in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Competency in scripting with Bash.
• Capability to ensure observability and troubleshoot distributed systems.
• Understanding of messaging, databases, storage, and security supporting services.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Automate SDLC workflows, including infrastructure provisioning, environment deployment, and CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Design, deploy, and sustain cloud infrastructure on AWS leveraging a wide range of services.
• Operate and administer Kubernetes clusters, ensuring stability and scalability.
• Create and maintain infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
• Build and support fully automated CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps.
• Deploy GitOps-based applications using ArgoCD.
• Guarantee observability and resolve issues across distributed systems.
• Partner with engineering teams to enable reliable and efficient delivery workflows.
• Uphold security, networking, and access management across cloud environments.

In this position, you will help reshape the future of medical intervention by building and maintaining resilient cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines. The perfect candidate will bring solid hands‑on experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes, along with a deep understanding of supporting services like messaging, databases, storage, observability, and security.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS offerings, including EKS, Lambda, and API Gateway
• Knowledge of AWS Aurora, RDS, and S3 solutions
• Skills in working with Amazon CloudFront, CloudWatch, and OpenSearch
• Expertise in observability tooling such as Fluent Bit, OpenTelemetry, and Amazon Managed Prometheus/Grafana
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, Python, and PowerShell
