Epic Software is seeking a Senior DevOps & Release Engineer to design and optimize data-centric back-end systems. The role focuses on SQL Server performance, data access using C# and EF, and Azure-based deployments.

You will mentor engineers and guide release processes in a remote contract setting. Responsibilities include building CDC pipelines, tuning queries under production load, and coordinating with application teams to ensure scalable data solutions on Azure.

Formación

• Must have strong SQL Server expertise and performance tuning.
• Experience delivering Azure data workloads and CDC pipelines.
• Proficiency in C# data access across frameworks and Python for automation.
• English proficiency as stated in posting.

Responsabilidades

• Design SQL Server schemas, indexes and query patterns for performance and concurrency.
• Inspect execution plans and tune bottlenecks, indexes and statistics.
• Build CDC pipelines and change-tracking for downstream consumers.
• Connect C# applications to databases efficiently and securely.
• Deliver Azure data workloads and automate database releases.
