AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build an enterprise data platform on Snowflake and Azure, owning the full stack from infrastructure provisioning through pipeline development, data modeling, governance, and observability.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, enforce HIPAA-aligned data handling, and develop production-grade data solutions with Terraform, SQLMesh, and Datadog, working as a solo senior contributor with high ownership.

Formación

• 4+ years of hands-on data engineering with full pipeline ownership.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake administration and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals (Kimball, SCD).
• Production experience with SQLMesh or DBT in a warehouse-centric architecture.
• Ingesting data from REST APIs and SQL Server using Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions.
• Hands-on Terraform for infrastructure provisioning with CI/CD using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines ingesting from enterprise source systems into Snowflake.
• Build and optimize Bronze/Silver/Gold data models using SQLMesh.
• Provision and manage platform infrastructure through Terraform and Azure resources.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for automated testing and releases.
• Design and enforce data governance, security, and HIPAA-aligned handling.
• Configure cloud networking, private endpoints, and access controls.
• Develop platform observability with Datadog and ensure data lineage.
• Write production-grade Python for ingestion utilities and data quality checks.
• Collaborate with analytics and business stakeholders using Agile practices.
• Document data engineering standards and reusable patterns.
