AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build an enterprise data platform on Snowflake and Azure. You will own the full stack from provisioning through pipeline development, data modeling, governance and observability, delivering a production-grade platform with minimal support.

You will implement Bronze/Silver/Gold data models, leverage SQLMesh and Terraform, and enforce HIPAA-aligned data handling and Snowflake RBAC standards while writing Python for ingestion utilities

Formación

• 4+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with full production pipeline ownership.
• Proven track record building and managing cloud data platforms, with Snowflake administration and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals (Kimball, dimensional design, SCD).
• Production experience with SQLMesh or DBT in a warehouse-centric architecture.
• Hands-on data ingestion from REST APIs and SQL Server using Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines ingesting from enterprise source systems (EHR, ERP, CRM, SaaS, PMS) into Snowflake using Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hub, and ADLS Gen2.
• Build and optimize analytics-ready data models (Bronze/Silver/Gold) using SQLMesh.
• Provision and manage platform infrastructure through Terraform, including Snowflake, Azure resources, networking, and access controls.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for automated testing, environment promotion, and multi-environment releases.
• Design and enforce data governance, security, and access controls including Snowflake RBAC and HIPAA-aligned handling.
• Configure cloud networking and private connectivity (Azure Private Endpoints, Private Link, Private DNS zones).
• Build platform-wide observability with Datadog for pipeline health, data freshness, and end-to-end lineage.
• Write production-grade Python for ingestion utilities, data quality, and platform integrations.
