AgileEngine seeks a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build an enterprise data platform on Snowflake and Azure. You will own the full stack from infrastructure provisioning through pipeline development, data modeling, governance, and observability.

You will create Bronze/Silver/Gold models, implement CI/CD pipelines, enforce HIPAA-aligned data handling and Snowflake RBAC standards, and deliver production-grade pipelines autonomously.

Formación

• 4+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with full production pipeline ownership.
• Proven cloud data platform experience with Snowflake administration and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals (Kimball, dimensional design, SCD).
• Experience with SQLMesh or DBT in a warehouse-centric architecture.
• Ingestion from REST APIs and SQL Server via Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions.
• Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD with GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps.
• Ability to audit and operate an existing data platform built by a third party.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines ingesting from ERP/CRM/SaaS into Snowflake via ADF, Event Hub, and ADLS Gen2.
• Build and optimize Bronze/Silver/Gold data models using SQLMesh.
• Provision and manage all platform infrastructure with Terraform and manage Snowflake/Azure resources.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and multi-environment releases.
• Design and enforce data governance, security, and HIPAA-aligned practices.
• Configure cloud networking and private connectivity (Private Endpoints, Private DNS, VNets).
• Maintain observability with Datadog covering pipeline health and data lineage.
• Write production-grade Python for ingestion utilities and data quality checks.
• Apply Agile practices with stakeholders and maintain reusable engineering standards.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues across pipelines and platform services.
