AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead a new ETL pipeline within an existing AWS environment. You will document current ingestion logic, evaluate build-vs-buy options like Fivetran, and build a standalone pipeline to power client dashboards. Strong SQL and DSP data experience are essential.

The role emphasizes collaboration with data science and infrastructure teams, working across AWS services (ECS, S3, RDS) to deliver scalable data solutions.

Formación

• 4+ years of SQL and large-scale data ingestion/pipeline experience.
• Direct or adjacent experience with digital advertising / DSP data.
• Working knowledge of AWS data services (RDS/Postgres, S3, ECS).
• Ability to contribute to application and backend work beyond ETL to support broader platform needs.
• Familiarity with, or ability to quickly evaluate, managed ELT tools such as Fivetran.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Document current ingestion logic inside the legacy tool (TapClicks).
• Build the ETL pipeline to replace the legacy system for multiple data sources (Amazon API, DSPs).
• Evaluate off-the-shelf solutions vs custom builds with Infrastructure Lead.
• Design the pipeline as a standalone system to power client dashboards.
• Provide engineering support inside AWS environment as needed.
• Coordinate with data science teams to align ingestion with downstream models.
• Work within the existing AWS environment (ECS, S3, RDS).
