AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the replacement of a third-party ingestion tool with a custom ETL pipeline within an existing AWS environment. You will document current logic, evaluate build-vs-buy options such as Fivetran, and build a standalone pipeline to power client-facing dashboards.

The role emphasizes strong SQL and DSP data experience, and collaboration with data science teams to ensure ingestion aligns with downstream models.

Formación

• 4+ years of SQL and large-scale data ingestion/pipeline experience.
• Direct or adjacent experience with digital advertising/DSP data.
• Working knowledge of AWS data services (RDS/Postgres, S3, ECS).
• Ability to contribute to application/backend work beyond ETL.
• Familiarity with ELT tools such as Fivetran.
• Ability to align ingestion output with downstream dashboards.
• Upper-intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

• Document current ingestion logic inside the legacy tool (TapClicks).
• Build the ETL pipeline to replace the legacy system, ingesting from the Amazon API and other DSP data sources.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy options like Fivetran with the Infrastructure Lead.
• Design the pipeline as a standalone, owned system for client dashboards.
• Provide support for app/backend work within the AWS environment.
• Coordinate with data science teams to align with attribution and scoring logic.
• Work within AWS (ECS, S3, RDS) rather than standing up new infra.
