AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the replacement of a third-party digital ingestion tool with a custom ETL pipeline. You will document existing logic, evaluate build-vs-buy options such as Fivetran, and build a standalone pipeline within an existing AWS environment.

Strong SQL and DSP or programmatic advertising experience are central to this role. Responsibilities include documenting ingestion logic, building the ETL pipeline across Amazon API and DSP sources, evaluating

• 4+ years in SQL and large-scale data ingestion/pipelines.
• Experience with DSP data (e.g., Amazon DSP) and advertising APIs.
• Proficient in AWS data services (RDS/Postgres, S3, ECS).
• Ability to contribute to backend work beyond ETL.
• Upper-intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

• Document ingestion logic in the legacy TapClicks tool.
• Build ETL pipeline to replace legacy system across Amazon API and DSPs.
• Evaluate Fivetran vs custom builds with Infrastructure Lead.
• Design standalone, owned pipeline to power client dashboards.
• Coordinate with data science teams to align ingestion with downstream models.
• Operate within existing AWS environment (ECS, S3, RDS).
