Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build scalable data pipelines in Python and drive data flows across our cloud infrastructure. You will serve as a key link between raw data sources and analytics across the organization.

You will design robust ELT/ETL processes, develop data models with SQL/dbt, and optimize pipelines on AWS, while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver reliable analytics in a 100% remote role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Proven experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines with Python.
• Strong SQL skills for data transformation and analysis.
• Hands-on with DBT and cloud platforms like AWS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Git version control.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust ELT/ETL pipelines to automate data ingestion and transformation.
• Develop complex data models and transformation layers using SQL and dbt.
• Optimize pipeline performance and scalability in AWS environments.
