Coforge is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own the end-to-end delivery of strategic data products on a modern cloud platform. You will design low-latency API-driven data solutions, build scalable Python services, and lead a team of data and ML engineers across LATAM.

The role requires 8+ years in data/software engineering, strong backend/API and Databricks/DBT experience, and a track record of guiding Terraform IaC deployments. Remote collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Experience leading engineering teams (3+ years).
• Strong backend development with REST APIs and Python (OO).
• Hands-on Azure Databricks and DBT experience.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling expertise.
• Terraform and IaC deployment experience.
• Proven ability to deliver scalable data products and APIs.
• Excellent communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the RTS delivery squad and own end-to-end delivery of strategic data products on a modern cloud data platform.
• Design architecture for low-latency API-driven data solutions and data serving layers.
• Build scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python (OO).
• Develop and optimize data pipelines with Azure Databricks, DBT, SQL, and cloud-native tech.
• Own data layers, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Guide IaC deployments with Terraform and maintain best practices.
• Mentor data and ML engineers; provide technical guidance and career development.
• Oversee code reviews, standards, and architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business to define roadmaps.
