AgileEngine is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to build and maintain the pipelines and data models behind a centralized HR data warehouse. You’ll work with Snowflake, DBT, Python, and Airflow to design semantic layers that make HR data consumable by BI tools and AI agents.

Experience with Snowflake Cortex or MCP-based tooling for agentic querying is a strong plus, and you’ll help enable natural-language querying over certified HR data using AI agents and MCP connections.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, data modeling, and data warehousing design.
• Strong DBT for data transformations.
• Proficient Python programming and OOP concepts.
• Experience with Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
• REST API integration and data ingestion.
• SQL proficiency with highly optimized queries.
• Familiarity with Google BigQuery querying and optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain secure, efficient data pipelines using DBT, PySpark, and Python applications in a cloud environment for HR data sources.
• Build infrastructure and tooling for ETL/ELT using Python, DBT, Terraform, and AWS technologies (Glue, EMR, S3).
• Identify and implement process improvements, develop tests within a Data Quality Framework, monitor pipelines for 99.5% uptime, and maintain data models for partner teams.
• Design semantic views and ontology layers on top of existing dbt models to enable BI and AI consumption of HR data.
• Develop and deploy AI agents for HR use cases enabling natural-language querying over HR data.
• Configure and maintain MCP connections between Snowflake and internal AI tooling for secure data exposure.
