EXL is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Bogotá, Colombia who brings 5–10 years of data engineering experience and a hands-on command of Databricks and its ecosystem. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions in a cloud environment, collaborating with global teams to deliver analytics-ready data.

The ideal candidate has strong Python, SQL, Spark skills, and experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Terraform.

Formación

• 4-6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar data-focused role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and its full ecosystem.
• Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong programming and data processing skills (Python, SQL, and Spark).
• Experience building scalable and reliable data pipelines.
• Advanced English level (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to support analytics and business use cases.
• Work with structured and semi-structured data at scale.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, performance, security, and reliability across platforms.
• Support cloud-based data architectures and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
