Job summary
AgileEngine, LLC. in Barranquilla, Colombia, is seeking a Data Engineer to build and optimize data pipelines, design Snowflake schemas, and enhance data observability to ensure reliable analytics.
You will create dashboards, collaborate with stakeholders, and help deliver business insights across projects for Fortune 500 clients; strong SQL, Python, and cloud data warehousing are required.
Qualifications
- +3 years of experience in data modeling principles/methods, especially Kimball
- Strong SQL proficiency and Snowflake or similar data warehouses
- Strong Python for data processing and automation
- Hands-on ETL with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
- Experience using DBT for data transformation, modeling, testing
- API integration, Snowflake data consumption
- Ability to develop simple Tableau dashboards
- Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD workflows
- Familiarity with AWS S3
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize data pipelines to ensure reliable integration and transformation.
- Design and maintain Snowflake tables and data models for analytics and reporting.
- Enhance data observability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Create dashboards and workflows to deliver business insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project transparency and success.
