Robots & Pencils in Bogotá is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to design and deliver complex cloud, data, and AI systems. You’ll contribute to architecture decisions, own meaningful components, and work embedded on delivery teams.

You’ll collaborate with senior engineers, product partners, and data teams to build scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions, while advancing CI/CD, IaC, and MLOps practices.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with architectural decision‑making.
• Proficiency in Python and another modern language (Java/Scala/TypeScript).
• Cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures knowledge.
• Hands‑on in microservices, serverless, containers, event‑driven systems.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Relational and NoSQL databases; data pipelines and ETL/ELT concepts.
• AI/ML system design including model deployment and MLOps.
• Networking, security, IAM in cloud environments.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to architectural design across cloud, data, and AI/ML systems.
• Build and integrate cloud-native solutions (microservices, serverless, containers).
• Implement infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design data architectures including pipelines and warehouses.
• Support AI/ML system design, including MLOps and model serving.
• Collaborate with engineers, data, AI, and product teams to translate requirements.
• Maintain architecture docs for reproducibility and onboarding.
