Job summary

NielsenIQ is seeking a Sr Credit Controller in Bogotá, Colombia to manage cash collection from third parties and collaborate with the Order to Cash and operations teams. The role focuses on reducing overdue debt, improving DSO, and ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs across NiQ entities.

You will produce and analyze reports, monitor customer accounts for discrepancies, and coordinate with Revenue and Commercial teams to optimize collections while delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Control and reduce third party debt by proactively managing the assigned trade debtors ledger and meeting monthly targets (DSO, overdue, collection ratio, disputes).
• Process and distribute reports such as trade debtors outstanding balance, cash flow forecast, dispute report, and bad debt provision.
• Monitor and record customer account details for non-payments, delays, and irregularities (disputes).
• Identify overdue portfolios to prevent contingencies in debt recovery per NiQ policy and procedures.
• Escalate with Revenue Controller and CS to determine actions with the commercial area to recover past-due resources.
• Support re-invoicing according to client specifications; follow up with revenue and provide clarifications.
• Provide customer service on collections issues, process adjustments, and resolve disputes and short payments.
• Work with commercial teams to promptly resolve incoming queries.
• Perform tasks to support Local Finance / I2C teams.
