AgileEngine is seeking a Business Analyst to assess existing reporting and define a future-state strategy across a broad stakeholder community. The role emphasizes requirements management, stakeholder interviews, and governance of reporting portfolios.

Responsibilities include inventorying current reports, mapping business needs to functional requirements, and developing a consolidated reporting roadmap for sustainable value delivery. Excellent communication with senior stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis and requirements-management experience of at least 4 years.
• Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate requirements workshops.
• Experience assessing and rationalizing an existing reporting portfolio.
• Translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
• Develop process maps, requirements docs, inventories, and roadmaps.
• Identify duplications, gaps, inconsistencies, and simplification opportunities.
• Operate across business, technology, data, and risk stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills to drive requirements through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of existing reports, dashboards, metrics, and artifacts.
• Research historical reporting to understand original business needs and use cases.
• Assess reporting for relevance, duplication, usability, and business value.
• Identify gaps and reports that no longer serve a purpose.
• Develop recommendations to retain, enhance, consolidate, replace, or decommission reporting.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas that consume, produce, or rely on reporting.
• Conduct structured interviews and working sessions to understand objectives and needs.
• Translate stakeholder needs into well-defined business and functional requirements.
• Reconcile competing requirements and establish a consolidated demand view.
• Maintain traceability between needs, requirements, reports, metrics and outcomes.
• Develop a target-state reporting portfolio based on requirements and findings.
• Define reports to address unmet business needs, enhancements, consolidations, or retirement.
• Prioritize requirements by value, risk, stakeholder need, and dependencies.
