AgileEngine is seeking a Business Analyst to assess existing reporting and define a future-state reporting strategy and governance model across a broad stakeholder community. You will develop a comprehensive inventory of reports, research historical needs, translate business requirements into well-defined documentation, and establish a governance roadmap.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of business analysis and requirements-management experience.
• Ability to interview stakeholders and facilitate workshops.
• Experience assessing and rationalizing reporting portfolios.
• Translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
• Develop process maps, requirements documentation, reporting inventories, and roadmaps.
• Strong analytical skills to identify gaps and duplications.
• Ability to operate across business, technology, data, and risk stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills to drive requirements through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of existing reports, dashboards, metrics, and reporting artifacts.
• Research historical reporting to understand original business needs and audiences.
• Assess current reporting for relevance and value; identify gaps and decommission opportunities.
• Develop recommendations to retain, enhance, consolidate, replace, or retire reports.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas consuming or producing reporting.
• Conduct structured interviews and workshops to capture objectives and requirements.
• Translate stakeholder needs into well-defined requirements and maintain traceability.
• Define a target-state reporting portfolio and roadmaps for implementation.
• Establish ownership, standards, and processes for reporting governance and changes.
• Maintain a reporting catalog with ownership and purpose.
