Qualifications

• At least 4 years of business analysis and requirements management.
• Experience interviewing stakeholders and running workshops.
• Experience rationalizing reporting or analytics portfolios.
• Ability to translate business needs into requirements.
• Experience creating process maps, docs, inventories, and roadmaps.
• Strong analytical skills to identify gaps and redundancies.
• Ability to engage across business, tech, data, and risk stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills to drive requirements through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of reports, dashboards, metrics, and artifacts.
• Research historical reporting to understand original business needs.
• Assess current reporting for relevance, duplication, usability, and value.
• Identify reporting gaps and reports no longer serving purpose.
• Provide recommendations to retain, enhance, consolidate, replace, or decommission reporting.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas consuming reports.
• Conduct structured interviews and workshops to capture objectives and needs.
• Translate needs into defined business and functional requirements.
• Maintain traceability from needs to reports and outcomes.
• Develop target-state reporting portfolio based on requirements.
• Define reports to address unmet needs; enhance or consolidate where needed.
• Prioritize requirements by value, risk, dependencies.
• Develop a rollout roadmap from current to future state.
• Establish ownership for reports, metrics, data sources.
• Define standards for documentation and data lineage.
• Establish a process for managing changes to reports.
• Define review cycles to reassess usage and improvements.
• Maintain a reporting catalog with ownership and status.
• Engage stakeholders regularly to ensure reporting supports decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, usability, efficiency.
• Monitor changing requirements and translate to enhancements.
• Encourage move from manual to standardized reporting.
• Use feedback and usage data to inform portfolio reviews.
