AgileEngine LLC. is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services and REST APIs for our data analytics platform.

You will integrate YouTube Creator APIs, Google Trends, and other data sources at the application layer, using Python with FastAPI and SQLAlchemy, and run on EKS with Docker and Redis-backed workers. You will work closely with a data engineer on the S3/Glue/Athena pipeline and the Bedrock-based scoring layer, applying rigorous typing, and leveraging

Formación

• 5–7 years of backend software development experience.
• Strong Python proficiency — FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and modern tooling with static typing.
• Designing and building REST APIs with versioning, contracts, and error semantics.
• Experience integrating third‑party APIs and reconciling heterogeneous data.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and database migrations.
• Experience with asynchronous/background processing (Celery/RQ) and Redis.
• Containerized deployment with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Familiarity with object-storage data lakes (S3/Glue/Athena) and serverless query engines.
• Ability to call LLM APIs from application code and reason about AI platform constraints.
• Comfort using Mac/Linux terminal environments.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs consumed by the frontend.
• Integrate third‑party/internal data sources (YouTube, Google Trends, MMM Data Hub) at the application layer.
• Develop containerized Python services and background workers on EKS.
• Work with AWS serverless components (Lambda, Step Functions, Fargate/Beanstalk).
• Implement authentication/authorization with Auth0 and ReBAC patterns.
• Collaborate with data engineer on S3/Glue/Athena pipeline and Bedrock scoring layer.
• Leverage Claude Code on AWS Bedrock while validating AI outputs.
• Engage with engineers daily via Slack/Meet.
