Job summary

Accelya Colombia SAS is seeking a Software Engineer – OpenConnect to design, develop, and maintain backend services and airline integrations using Node.js and TypeScript. The role focuses on building REST APIs and microservices, migrating legacy components to a cloud-native architecture, and delivering scalable integration capabilities with AWS and Kubernetes.

You will work on adapters connecting the platform to airline systems, contribute to modernizing the OpenConnect suite, and collaborate

Qualifications

Proven experience with TypeScript and Node.js in backend services.
Design, develop, test, and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
Experience with JSON/XML payloads and complex integrations.
Experience deploying cloud-based apps on AWS.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services, microservices, APIs, and airline integrations using Node.js and TypeScript.
Build and maintain REST APIs and integration components supporting airline workflows.
Develop adapters connecting the OpenConnect platform with airline systems and external providers.
Migrate legacy OpenConnect components to a cloud-native microservices architecture.
Design reusable integration patterns that isolate airline functionality.
Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, and Docker.
Implement reliable error handling, retries, logging, tracing, and monitoring.
