Job summary

Accelya Group, a global software provider for the airline industry, seeks a Software Development Engineer in Bogota. You will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Offer Engines, delivering high-performance, scalable software for the airline sector.

You will work with cross-functional teams to design, test, troubleshoot, and optimize solutions in a high-availability environment. The role emphasizes C/C++ development, debugging, and SDLC practices, with fluent English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong C/C++ development experience.
• Excellent debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and related tools.
• Clear written and spoken English; team collaboration.
• English interviews will be conducted in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, code, test, troubleshoot, and maintain high-availability, high-load software.
• Investigate and resolve complex defects with testing and modifications.
• Write new code based on specifications within a large system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement high-performance solutions.
• Develop routines to parse and store input data in various formats.
• Use profiling tools to optimize performance for high-scale deployment.
• Adopt AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and quality.
