Job summary

Accelya is seeking a Software Engineer – OpenConnect in Bogotá to design, develop, test, and maintain backend services, microservices, and airline integrations using Node.js and TypeScript. You will build REST APIs supporting shopping, pricing, booking, and settlement workflows, and migrate legacy OpenConnect components to a cloud-native platform.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and airline integrations.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integration components for shopping, pricing, booking, servicing, payment, and settlement workflows.
• Develop adapters connecting OpenConnect with airline systems using JSON/XML.
• Migrate legacy OpenConnect components to a cloud-native microservices architecture.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native apps using AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, and Docker.
