EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with deep AWS cost optimization expertise to join our team. You will drive data-driven approaches to alerting, reporting, and reducing cloud spend across large AWS environments.

You will collaborate with multi-national teams, design dashboards, and build automation to monitor usage, reservations, and savings plans. Strong communication and English skills are required.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional AWS experience with cost reporting and optimization at scale.
• Experience with EKS and containerization.
• Proficient with AWS cost tools and dashboards.
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform.
• Strong communication and English (B2+).

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with software development and engineering teams to identify optimization opportunities that maximize ROI on cloud resources and improve overall cost efficiency.
• Gain understanding of the client’s product, architecture, and deployment in the cloud, including cost of each component.
• Advise on architecture and resource optimization, waste reduction, and KPI development.
• Monitor cloud spending to identify increases and usage anomalies, investigate root causes.
• Track utilization of reservations and savings plans and reallocate capacity.
• Analyze data patterns to generate insights for decision-making.
• Identify savings opportunities related to cloud commitments and monitor utilization.
• Create cost optimization dashboards and reports for engineering teams.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and automated alerting for cost tracking.
• Contribute to policies and best practices for cost optimization.
