Gensler seeks a Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams of architects and designers from concept through construction drawings.

You will oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, and coordinated documentation while maintaining design intent and quality across complex projects. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, strong leadership, and client relationship management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture and licensed/registered architect credentials.
• 7+ years of project experience in an architectural practice.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with strong communication skills.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle, including post-occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project phases: setup, design, and construction drawings.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, and client/subcontractor coordination.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and fees, coordinate bidding.
• Track financial performance of projects and ensure quality control.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex design issues.
• Lead coordination with consultants and regulatory agencies.
