Job summary

BairesDev, a leading technology company, is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and ship pipelines connecting to LLM providers and platforms. You will lead AI-driven initiatives, build agentic systems, and ensure code quality through AI coding agents.

Strong Java and Python skills are required, along with experience in RESTful APIs and AI orchestration frameworks. The role is 100% remote with flexibility, competitive USD-based compensation, and a world-class, diverse team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Deep expertise in agentic system design, including tool use, agent loops, function calling, structured outputs, and reasoning models.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integrations.
• Comfort with AI-assisted coding as part of the daily workflow.
• Experience with MCP or AI agent orchestration frameworks.
• Background working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, or Bedrock; Anthropic experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship pipelines integrating with LLM providers and platforms.
• Lead internal AI-driven initiatives from concept to production.
• Build agentic systems involving tool use, agent loops, function calling, and structured outputs.
• Use AI coding agents to accelerate delivery while maintaining full accountability for code quality.
