AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and build agentic workflows and AI-powered products for enterprise customers in higher education.

You will lead development of tool-using LLM applications and orchestrated workflows, collaborating across multiple teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable systems. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software product development, strong Java and Spring Boot skills, and hands-on experience with AI agents, AWS, and RESTful APIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software product development.
• Proficient with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on in building AI agents and tool-using LLM apps.
• Experience with AWS and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design agentic workflows coordinating tools, services, data, and human approvals.
• Develop reusable patterns for agent orchestration and memory.
• Use AI coding agents across the development lifecycle.
• Integrate agents into development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Set standards for evaluation, observability, security, and governance.
• Prototype new agentic capabilities and scale production systems.
• Build end-to-end enterprise SaaS products with reliable workflows.
• Mentor engineers and shape agentic-first strategy across org.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to tie agent capabilities to outcomes.
• Review, test, and secure agent-generated code.
