Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations and drive production excellence across assigned cells. You will oversee daily production activities, supervise manufacturing personnel, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are consistently achieved.

This onsite position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location.

Qualifications

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily manufacturing operations for assigned production cells, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are achieved.
• Coach and develop manufacturing employees, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor production schedules, prioritize work, and optimize workflow to meet customer commitments and operational objectives.
• Drive quality compliance by ensuring manufacturing processes, documentation, and products meet established standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Materials, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams to resolve production issues and minimize operational disruptions.
• Monitor production performance through data analysis, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, process optimization, waste reduction, and operational excellence.
• Support manufacturing innovation initiatives, including automation, digital transformation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Interface with internal and external customers to resolve production concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies while supporting employee engagement and operational excellence.
