Job summary

Sanofi Global Services Bogotá Hub is seeking an Accounting Senior Analyst to lead end-to-end General Ledger closing and reporting within the A2R framework. You will collaborate across teams to ensure accuracy, compliance with IFRS, and timely SLAs.

Strong SAP FICO and MS Excel skills are required, with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting. The role emphasizes process improvements, knowledge transfer, and working in a multicultural, international setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in General Ledger accounting, closing, and reporting.
• Experience in international/shared services environments is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and ideally exposure to local GAAPs.
• Experience in financial reporting and closing cycles in multicultural environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver General Ledger monthly closing and reporting services in accordance with SLAs.
• Perform monthly closing activities following Group timelines and procedures.
• Review system interfaces and ensure accurate postings, including AR/AP sub-ledgers closure and Balance Sheet & P&L account validation.
• Prepare and post manual journal entries (MJE).
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Prepare management, tax, legal, and statutory reports at both Group and country level.
• Generate ad-hoc reports and analysis to support business decisions.
