Clara is a fast-growing Latin American fintech, seeking a skilled Security Engineer to own AI security posture, guardrails, and CI/CD security. You will lead security across AWS/GCP, implement guardrails as code, and mentor engineers on secure practices while coordinating incident response.

The role requires hands-on cloud security experience, strong coding skills, and fluency in Spanish and English. You will work with a distributed team across the Americas, focusing on secure-by-default

Formación

• 2–4 years in security engineering, cloud/security or related role with hands-on production work.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and/or GCP security; able to read/write infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar).
• Solid programming ability in at least one language (Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience with secure-code practices: injection, auth/z, secrets handling, supply-chain issues.
• Hands-on with SIEM (Splunk preferred) and EDR; experience in detection engineering and investigations.
• Working understanding of LLM-based systems and agents in a technical setting.
• Good risk judgment: differentiate blocking findings from follow-up actions.
• Strong written and spoken communication in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Own AI security posture and define controls for LLMs and agents.
• Develop guardrails for AI usage, data handling, identity and logging.
• Lead the SIEM investigation agent: design rules, ensure accuracy, prevent misattributions.
• Threat-model AI systems as attack surfaces and propose mitigations.
• Secure code and CI/CD: run SAST, dependencies, secrets scanning, secure reviews.
• Lead incident investigation and response using incident management tools.
