Crezcamos S.A. is seeking an SDET/Test Automation Engineer to drive automation strategy and collaborate with developers and QA to deliver high-quality software. You will build scalable test frameworks, validate web apps and APIs, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

The role emphasizes manual testing as needed, defect management, and continuous quality improvement across cross-functional teams, with a focus on modernizing enterprise applications.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in SDET, Test Automation, or QA engineering roles.
• Strong experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation tools.
• Experience testing web applications built with .NET, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience validating REST APIs, integrations, and backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience working with Git-based repositories, Jira, and Agile development teams.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and QA best practices.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate into scalable automated test coverage.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills within cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites.
• Create automated tests for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Participate in manual testing to ensure full coverage of modernized apps.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects and quality issues.
• Validate upgrades, dependencies, and compatibility changes.
• Execute tests against web apps, APIs, and supporting services.
• Analyze results, provide quality metrics, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Promote test automation best practices across squads.
• Create and maintain test documentation including plans, cases, results, and releases.
