Amanecer is seeking an SDET / Test Automation Engineer in Colombia to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for modernized enterprise apps. You will work with developers, QA, and the Tech Lead to improve quality and ensure reliable releases across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in SDET or QA, hands-on experience with Playwright, and web apps built with .NET, React, and TypeScript.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in SDET, test automation, or QA engineering roles.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation tools.
• Experience testing web applications built with .NET, React, and TypeScript technologies.
• Experience validating REST APIs, integrations, and backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience working with Git-based repositories, Jira, and Agile development teams.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and quality assurance best practices.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into scalable automated test coverage.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills within cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Define test strategies and acceptance criteria with developers & QA.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Perform manual testing to achieve full coverage.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects and quality issues.
• Validate upgrades and compatibility changes during modernization.
• Execute tests against web apps, APIs, and services.
• Analyze results, report metrics, and communicate risks.
• Promote automation best practices and continuous quality.
• Document test plans, cases, results, and releases.
