Gi Group Colombia is seeking an SDET / Test Automation Engineer responsible for manual testing and establishing automated testing strategy to modernize enterprise apps from .NET 6 to .NET 10. You will work with developers, QA, and Tech Lead to build scalable frameworks and ensure reliable releases throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 6+ years in SDET or QA, strong skills in Playwright, REST APIs, CI/CD, Git/Jira, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to improve quality

Formación

• 6+ years in SDET, test automation, or QA engineering.
• Designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern tools.
• Testing web apps built with .NET, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience validating REST APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Experience with Git and Jira in Agile teams.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and defect management.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable test coverage.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to define test strategies.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Execute manual testing when needed and ensure full coverage.
• Analyze results, report metrics, and communicate risks.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation including plans, cases, results, and defects.
