Hilton in Colombia seeks a Restaurant Captain to lead front-of-house operations and deliver memorable guest experiences. You will oversee daily outlet activities, ensure service standards, and coordinate with the kitchen to maintain quality and timing.

Formación

• Experience in high-volume restaurant service.
• In-depth knowledge of menu, wines, and beverages.
• Ability to train and supervise staff.
• Strong communication and guest relation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and participate in daily outlet operations to ensure guest service standards and policy compliance.
• Master the menu and assist guests with selections and pairings.
• Monitor product and service quality; address issues to enhance dining experiences.
• Record orders and transactions in the POS system for accuracy and timeliness.
• Communicate menu inquiries, wait times, and dietary considerations to the kitchen.
• Provide on-the-floor supervision and coaching to the team during shifts.
• Maintain health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.

Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Restaurant Captain, you’re not just overseeing and coordinating front-of-house operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Support daily restaurant operations: Oversee and participate in daily outlet operations, including ensuring guest service standards, product quality, and compliance with operational policies and procedures
• Master the menu: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the menu, including wines, cocktails, and beverage pairings, and assist guests with menu selections and inquiries
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences: Monitor product and service quality, assess guest satisfaction, address issues, and make improvements to enhance the dining experience
• Ensure seamless service: Record orders and transactions accurately in the Point of Sales system and review order dockets to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
• Collaborate with kitchen team: Communicate menu inquiries, wait times, product availability, and any dietary restrictions or special requests to the kitchen to ensure smooth service
• Guide team members through each shift: Provide on-the-floor supervision and coaching to foster a positive and productive work environment
• Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
