Hilton is offering a Culinary Apprentice position through our partnership with the American Hotel & Lodging Association Foundation (AHLAF). You will work alongside experienced chefs in a professional kitchen, delivering memorable guest experiences and gaining practical hands-on training.

You will build skills in food preparation, plating, and kitchen hygiene, participate in menu development, and contribute to a culture of hospitality and teamwork that Hilton champions worldwide.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Support kitchen operations: Assist chefs with food preparation, cooking, and plating dishes to ensure efficient service
• Develop culinary skills: Observe and practice essential techniques, including knife handling, sautéing, and baking
• Contribute to menu innovation: Participate in menu planning and assist in the development of new dishes
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness: Keep all work areas clean, tidy, and free of cross-contamination
• Participate in AHLAF development programs: Complete AHLAF-provided online training to gain new skills and knowledge and advance your culinary career
• Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
