BairesDev is hiring a Software Engineer (InfluxDB) to design, deploy, and optimize time‑series data solutions. You will ensure high‑performance data ingestion for IoT telemetry and infrastructure monitoring, with focus on real‑time insights and scalable storage.

You will work 100% remotely, with the freedom to define your schedule, and you will join a global team of top 1% tech talent dedicated to innovation and excellence in observability platforms.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Database Administration.
• Proven expertise in operating and managing InfluxDB for time-series data.
• Proficiency in writing Flux queries and managing data collection with Telegraf.
• Hands-on experience building real-time monitoring dashboards and IoT telemetry at scale.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and manage production-grade InfluxDB instances for high-velocity time-series workloads.
• Develop and optimize Flux queries to provide real-time analytics and monitoring insights.
• Configure and maintain Telegraf agents to automate the collection of metrics, events, and sensor data.
• Build and maintain interactive real-time monitoring dashboards to visualize system health and IoT telemetry.
• Optimize database performance, retention policies, and storage efficiency to handle growing data cardinality.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate time-series data into broader observability and alerting frameworks.
