Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a fully remote role focused on U.S.-based higher education marketing. You will own technical SEO across partner accounts, run audits, and build Claude-based tools to automate audits, reporting, QA, and content production.

The role emphasizes AI-driven workflows, scalable systems, and close collaboration with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO. Strong WordPress and data-tool expertise are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years in SEO with 3+ in technical SEO
Hands-on with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs/Semrush
Strong WordPress knowledge to spec fixes
Claude AI experience for building agents/workflows
Clear written communication able to translate tech to clients

Responsibilities

Lead technical SEO across client accounts
Run technical audits: crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, broken links
Prioritize issues by impact and effort; defend decisions
Write developer-ready specs and verify fixes
Build Claude-based tools and workflows for audits and QA
Design systems to scale the SEO service
Assist in AI-search readiness (AEO/GEO) and content structure
