Job summary

Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to manage technical SEO across a portfolio of higher education partners. You will write dev-ready specs, guide client teams, and implement WordPress tweaks to improve visibility across traditional and AI-driven search.

You will also design Claude-based tools and workflows to scale audits, reporting, and QA, while collaborating with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO. This is a fully remote role serving education-focused accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
• Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Strong written communication to spec fixes and guide clients.
• Ability to own outcomes across many accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical audits across client accounts including crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links.
• Prioritize issues by impact and effort, defend those calls.
• Write dev-ready specs and follow through to fixes and verification.
• Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, redirects, schema.
• Monitor Search Console and GA4 to catch drops and indexing problems.
• Build Claude-based tools and workflows for audits, QA, and reporting.
