Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Strategic Project Lead Software Engineering to drive end-to-end delivery of complex software programs. This remote role requires strong leadership, cross-team coordination, and the ability to read code in Python, TypeScript, Java or Go.

You will manage workflows, mentor peers, communicate progress to clients, and ensure quality, timelines, and cost targets while coordinating with talent teams for onboarding. PST overlap is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex programs in software engineering.
• Strong analytical skills to identify bottlenecks and improve performance.
• Experience managing distributed teams or large-scale technical operations.
• Strong communication skills for managing expectations and client relationships.
• Ability to read and review code in Python, TypeScript, Java, or Go.
• Availability for at least 40 hours per week with PST overlap.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across scope, timelines, quality, and cost
• Design and manage workflows for coding datasets and evaluations
• Identify operational bottlenecks and improve workflows through better instructions
• Define contributor requirements and partner with talent teams for onboarding
• Act as the primary customer contact for communicating progress and risks
• Automate quality sampling and defect analysis using Python or SQL
• Share operational learnings and mentor other program leads
