CommandLink is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own the security product surface end to end, including API, UI, architecture, and data contracts that bind alert, classification, and ingestion services. This is a 100% remote role with a strong emphasis on security telemetry and cross-functional collaboration.

You will drive architectural decisions in ambiguous spaces, mentor engineers, and shape durable outcomes across teams while operating with significant autonomy.

Formación

• Production experience with high-volume, latency-sensitive infrastructure (Kafka/OpenSearch).
• Contract-driven development with schema/interface definitions like protobuf.
• Broad security telemetry knowledge (syslog, NetFlow, SNMP, OpenTelemetry, EDR/MDR).
• Strong cloud environment knowledge and auditing practices.

Responsabilidades

• Own the architecture and long-term direction of the security product API and UI.
• Define data contracts between security product and alert/classification/ingestion services.
• Integrate and present security telemetry across diverse sources into a unified model.
• Make cloud environments and their audit trails a first-class part of the product.
