Pepoltek Ltd in Dhaka is hiring Spanish medical interpreters to join a remote interpretation function, delivering over-the-phone and video interpretation in EST hours. This is an independent contractor role with payments monthly via Payoneer.

You will interpret accurately, provide cultural mediation, and maintain patient confidentiality while documenting services and staying current with medical terminology.

Qualifikationen

• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Experience in medical interpretation or translation.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with the healthcare system.
• Good communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Accurately interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and other information between Spanish-speaking patients and healthcare providers.
• Provide cultural mediation to help patients understand the healthcare system and clinicians understand cultural differences.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Document interpretation services including date, time, duration, and type of interpretation.
• Stay current on medical terminology and healthcare practices to ensure accuracy over time.
